Owner/Stylist
My name is Jami and I have been in the beauty industry since 2000. I bought Mezzanine Hair Studio late 2020 after working for the previous owner Nadine, for 14 years.
I have always aspired to own my own business and with Nadine’s teachings and guidance she has inspired me to become the best version of myself in this industry and take my career to a whole new level.
I enjoy a good challenge whether its a great haircut or a fabulous hair colour makeover. The best complement is someone else complementing my work.
Through Redken I am trained as a color specialist but the training doesn’t stop there. In order to stay current and up to date with the newest trends myself and my staff attend both in house and outside training on a regular basis.

Nadine Woitt

My name is Nadine and I have been in the Hair Industry here in Airdrie since 1997. I started out at Mezzanine as owner in 2009, up until Dec 2020 when I happily handed over the keys to long time Employee Jami Weum.
I am excited to continue doing what I love as my passion for making people look and feel their best is what makes my career so rewarding. My experience behind the chair is a never ending learning process..
I am truly excited to see where this Next Chapter takes me in this AMAZING INDUSTY!! Many, many thanks to all who have supported me all these years.

Hi, my name is Angie. I have been in the hair industry for 18 years. I went to Marca School of Hair Design in Saskatoon right out of high school. I moved to Lethbridge in 1995 and worked in various salons for 7 years, then moved to Airdrie in 2003. I joined the Mezzanine team in June 2007, and have had the pleasure of working with some amazing people.
I have been offered the opportunity of furthering my education with the in house classes that Nadine, along with Redken has provided for me.Doing hair is a passion, and it’s one of mine. I love hearing about my repeat clients’ adventures and learning about new ones. Can’t wait to see you in the near future!
Ashley Powell-Varney

Hi, I’m Ashley and I have been in the hair industry since 2006. I took my training in Calgary and was employed in Airdrie right after graduation. I joined the Mezzanine team in February 2010. Other than hair styling, some of my interests are reading, shopping, and going to way too many movies!
My ultimate passion is hair. I am fortunate enough to have an amazing clientele and I’m always so excited to see new faces. I love creating beautiful hair that my clients can be happy and confident about. I’ve taken numerous creative cut and color classes and have continued education in Redken. I love learning new techniques and methods and recreating the newest trends. I take pride in what I do and always listen to my clients so they receive exactly the fresh style and look they crave! I look forward to meeting you!
Alyssa Sirr

Hi, my name is Alyssa. I have been in the hair industry since 2004. I started my career right here in Airdrie. After working as an assistant for a year, i attended Marvell college of hair design where i had the opportunity to meet some great people and learn a lot of useful skills.
I joined the Mezzanine team in August 2012. I am very lucky to work with a fantastic group of girls and have the chance to continue and educate and improve my skills. My passion is hair. I love all aspects of styling, coloring and cutting with Blondes, and men styles being my specialty. One of the many reasons i find my career so rewarding is seeing the look of someones face after their hair is finished, knowing i helped them look and feel their best. I take pride in what i do and enjoy taking classes and learning about the latest trends. I am a people person and enjoy hearing about my regular clients adventures and always meeting new people. I will always listen to my clients desires so that i can give them the look they want.

Hi my name is Lindsey and I have been doing hair since 2012. After graduating from Delmar College of Hair I have taken advanced cutting, coloring, and barbering classes to stay up to date on the latest trends. I have taken part in several hair shows working with artists from Sebastian, Wella, and various others to help expand my skills. Hi my name is Meghan and I have been at Mezzanine since September 2016. I jumped into the industry right out of high school and have been fortunate enough to work at the salon that my family and I have been going to since I was just 10 years old! I have a passion for making people feel like their best selves and bringing their inner beauty outward. I love balayage, lived-in colouring, styling or anything creative really. My other huge passion is makeup. I love to enhance a persons natural features and make them feel beautiful for any event! We are fortunate to be able to further our education through classes such as Sam Villa, Redken, and many others!
